~ About Us ~ Gary Wolfe has been working with wood since high school.  In 1990, Gary & Pam opened The Wood Shop in the heart of the Danish village of Elk Horn, Iowa, in the shadow of the authentic Danish windmill. After 13 years, Pam has retired. The Wolfes have moved their business to their country home, continuing to build and sell their beautifully designed and well-built wood furniture.
